About Studio Verbaan – A Unique Design Perspective

Studio Verbaan is a Dutch design studio based in Rotterdam, founded in 2019 by Solange Frankort and Jordi Verbaan. Their work is shaped by different creative backgrounds - Solange coming from conceptual art and photography, and Jordi from artisanal woodworking and visual art - together forming a distinctive approach to design.

We launched our first products together with the Spring-Summer 2026 collection. We value Studio Verbaan for their clear design language that brings craft and concept together, with simple forms and material presence at its core. Their design philosophy is rooted in the belief that “attention is given to every detail, texture and contour, imparting a unique and artistic character.”

POLSPOTTEN, SINCE 1986

Since 1986, POLSPOTTEN has created objects with character for homes and hospitality. Designed in Amsterdam and crafted by artisans worldwide, each piece carries skill, soul, and a hint of the unexpected. Never mass-produced, always made to last. What began as a small shop selling Spanish terracotta pots has grown into an international design label with a playful and unconventional signature.
