Meet one of the characters from our 40-years POLSPOTTEN celebration. Short, round and standing its ground on three sturdy legs. Carved by hand from solid dimb wood in Erik Pol's workshop in Senegal, then painted by hand by Hans van Bentem in the Aalsmeer greenhouse where POLSPOTTEN started in 1986. The smallest in the room, and somehow the first one everybody notices. Each one a character of its own This character is handmade and hand-painted, so no two are exactly alike. Any small imperfections are part of its personality.
