Ralf Gloudemans reduced the classical amphora to a flowing, almost futuristic form. The result sits somewhere between an archaeological find and an object from the future. Found in the future. The Amphoreus Vase didn’t begin in glass, but as a 3D print. Only then was the design translated into a traditional glassblowing process. Digital precision and centuries-old craftsmanship come together in one object. • Mouth-blown into a mould. • Made from solid coloured glass. • Developed from an original 3D-printed design. • Designed by Ralf Gloudemans.
