Each object captures a moment in the life of an independent duck. The subtle art of giving a duck. The Duck Series is fired at a lower temperature than many other ceramic objects. This makes the production process more delicate to manage, while giving the glaze greater depth and the rounded forms their soft finish. Because of their size, the drying stage requires particular care. • Low-fired ceramic for rich glazes and soft forms. • Each Duck is applied to the plate by hand, piece by piece. • The white version is finished with real liquid gold, applied by hand with a brush. • An original POLSPOTTEN design.
